An SBL session I wanted to attend (but couldn’t because of conflicting scheduled) was the Software Shootout in which all the major players demoed a specified list of technical tasks. There is a helpful summary on Mike Mansfield’s blog, This Lamp.
There are or will probably be others. If you know of any, please post them in the coments. (I’m enroute home and an iPhone isn’t the fastest way to search for such things and collect/post links.)

Just to clarify, I did not post the Logos blog post with the Logos perspective. It doesn’t exist. The Bible Software Shootout was not discussed on the Logos blog and most likely won’t be. Mike Heiser shared his personal thoughts and was not speaking on behalf of the company.
