Bibliography of ANRW* for New Testament Studies

A Working Bibliography of ANRW* for New Testament Studies, part II, vols. 18.1-18.5, 25.1-25.6, 26.1-26.3, 27.1, 29.1

Originally prepared by Neal Cushman, Dan Fabricatore, and Wayne Slusser as part of a Ph.D. Seminar in Greek Studies, Prof. Rodney J. Decker, Fall 2002 at Baptist Bible Seminary, Clarks Summit, Pennsylvania; expanded and revised by a late Ph.D. seminar, winter 2006 by Neal Cushman, Frank Dipronio, and Rob Green.

*ANRW = Aufstieg und Niedergang der romischen Welt (= Rise and Decline of the Roman World). This is an exceedingly large reference set from de Gruyter that constitutes the ultimate resource on this subject. Articles are written by the world’s foremost scholars in each area. ANRW is considered to be one of the most reliable authorities on subjects touching the Roman world–which the NT does at many points. Please note that this bibliography covers only the 16 vols. of ANRW listed above. These are the vols. that have perhaps the largest proportion of material directly related to NT studies. We hope to expand this bibliography in future years.

The original bibliography appears below. The revised, substantially expanded version is available in a pdf file (posted 3/21/2006). The index now covers vols.: 1.1-4, 7.1-2, 8, 9.1-2, 17.1-4, 18.1-5, 19.1-2, 20.1-2, 21.1-2, 23.1-2, 25.1-6, 26.1-3, 27.1, 29.1-2, 30.1-3, 32.1-5, 34.1-4, 37.1-3 (a total of 53 vols.).
